Destinations Covered: Delhi – Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri Agra – Agra And Gwalior – Orchha – Khajuraho – Varanasi – Kathmandu – Delhi – 16 Days/15 Nights.

DAY 01: ARRIVE IN DELHI :
The driver will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel. The first day you can get settled into your hotel and get a good night’s sleep. 

DAY 02: FULL DAY DELHI CITY TOUR :
The driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast at 8 am. That morning you will go on a full day tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. The tour includes a visit to the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat- the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Humayun’s Tomb which is believed to be the forerunner of the Taj Mahal, and the India Gate a 42 meter high arch, a memorial to the soldiers of the Indian army. Additionally you will visit the Parliament House, President’s House, Secretariat Building, Red Fort of Delhi, Jama Mosque, Laxmi Narayan Temple and The Connaught Place. Finally, at around 7pm you will watch a light show at the famous Lotus Temple. At about 8 pm you will return to your hotel.

DAY 03: DELHI TO JAIPUR :
Driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast at 8am after which you will depart for Jaipur. You will arrive in Jaipur at around 2pm and check into your hotel. That afternoon, around 3 pm the driver will take you to visit the City Palace. The famous Johari and Bapu Bazaars are located within walking distance from the City Palace. These Bazaars are well known for their jewelry, carpets, and clothes. Depending on your preference you can spend 2 to 3 hrs looking around. For dinner, we recommend a visit to the Chokhi Dhani. This five-star Rajasthani restaurant has excellent ethnic food and entertainment that ranges from puppet shows to acrobatic displays. Following dinner, you can see a movie at Rajmandir Cinema, which has show times from 9pm to midnight. After the movie, the driver will pick you up and drive you to the hotel.

DAY 04: FULL DAY JAIPUR CITY TOUR :
Driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast. First thing in the morning you will visit the Amber Fort, where you can take a ride on an elephant. Up to two people can ride the elephant at the same time for a single price of RS 1,100 (not included in the cost of the tour). Later that morning you will see the Jaigarh and Nahargarh Forts, followed by a visit to the Observatory. After lunch you will visit the Wind Palace, Birla Temple, and Hawa Mahal. After a long day of sightseeing you can have dinner and relax at one of Jaipur’s many fine restaurants (we recommend Indiana, Niros, or Natraj). After dinner the driver will take you to your hotel.

DAY 05: JAIPUR TO AGRA (VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI FORT) :
Driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast. You will depart for Agra at around 8 am. On the way to Agra you will visit Fatehpur Sikri Fort. Fatehpur Sikri (City Of Victory) was once envisioned to be the capital for the Mughal Empire. Built by the order of Emperor Akbar, this red sandstone city has served as an architectural inspiration for centuries. Depending on the length of stay at Fatehpur Sikri, you can expect to arrive at your hotel in Agra at around 4pm. That evening you will visit the famous Agra marble shops and bazaars.

DAY 06: AGRA TAJ MAHAL TOUR THEN AFTER DRIVE TO GWALIOR :
The driver will meet you early in the morning at 5:45am. That morning, at sunrise, you will visit the world famous Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. The price of admission to the Taj is RS 1,300/person (not included in the cost of the tour). You will have 2 to 3 hours to explore this architectural masterpiece. After having breakfast you will visit Agra Fort and Itmad Ud Daulah also known as the “Baby Taj”. Following lunch you will depart for Gwalior and will arrive there by 4 pm. After checking into your hotel you will visit the Gwalior Fort – originally built by Raja Man Singh Tomar in the 15th century.

DAY 07: GWALIOR TO ORCHHA :
Driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast. You will arrive at Orchha at around 2pm and check into your hotel. Your afternoon city tour of Orchha will include a visit to Fort Sheesh Mahal, Ghat, Jain Temple.

DAY 08: ORCHHA TO KHAJURAHO :
Driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast. You will arrive in Khajuraho at around 2pm and check into your hotel. That afternoon you will go on a tour of Khajuraho temples. These temples are unique in that their walls bare carvings of erotic acts. After the tour the driver will bring you back to the hotel.

DAY 09: KHAJURAHO FULL DAY CITY TOUR :
Driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast. Your day tour will include a visit to Khajuraho markets followed by the Jain Temple. That evening, around 7 pm you will visit the Shilpgram – a government sponsored arts and crafts center. Every night this open-air stadium showcases traditional Hindi folk dancing.

DAY 10: KHAJURAHO TO VARANASI:
Driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast. You will arrive in Varanasi at 2 pm and check into your hotel. You will have the evening to explore Varanasi on your own. We recommend you visit the city center as well as some of the local temples, all within walking distance from the hotel.

DAY 11: FULL DAY VARANASI CITY TOUR :
Driver will meet you at the hotel early morning around 6 am. You will then take a short 10-minute drive to the Ganges Ghat where you will take a 2-hour boat ride on the sacred Ganges River. After the boat ride you will visit a number of temples located within walking distance of the Ganges Ghat. You will visit the Durga, Sankat Mochan, Mrityunjaya, Kal Bhairav, and most notably the Kashi Vishwanath temple. This temple is considered by many to be the most important in Varanasi and houses Lord Shiva, one of the most central deities in Hinduism. The driver will bring you back to the hotel whenever you are done sightseeing and you can relax for the rest of the evening.

DAY 12: VARANASI TO KATHMANDU :
The driver will meet you in the morning, depending on your flight time and take you to the Varanasi airport. The flight to Kathmandu is about 1.5hrs. A driver from the hotel will meet you at the airport in Kathmandu and bring you to the hotel for check-in. You will have the rest of the day to relax and explore the city on your own.

DAY 13: KATHMANDU FULL DAY CITY TOUR :
After breakfast you will go on an all day city tour of Kathmandu. This portion of the tour is flexible and depends solely on your prior arrangements with your driver. You can choose to have a driver from the hotel as your guide or explore the city on your own.

DAY 14: KATHMANDU :
After breakfast you will go on a half-day sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur and Pashupatinath. Once again, this portion of the tour depends on prior arrangements made with your driver. You will have the rest of the afternoon to relax and spend at your own leisure.

DAY 15: KATHMANDU TO DELHI :
After check out and depending on your flight time, a driver from the hotel will take you to the airport. Upon arrival, a driver will meet you at the Delhi airport and take you to your hotel. After check in, you will have the rest of the day to spend at your own leisure.

DAY 16: DELHI AIRPORT DROP OFF :
The driver will meet you at the hotel, depending on your departure flight and take you to the airport.

We’ll just tell you honestly that a typical tip is between Rs 700 and Rs 1000 per day, paid directly to the driver at the end of your trip.
