Destinations Covered: Delhi – Agra – Jaipur – Delhi – 4 Days/3 Nights

 

DAY 01: DELHI TO AGRA:
Driver will meet you at the Your Hotel after Breakfast at 8.00 am. Agra is located 210 km east of Delhi. You will arrive in Agra around 11.30 Afternoon, and check into your hotel. That afternoon you will go on a half-day tour of Agra where you will visit the WORLD FAMOUS TAJ MAHAL, one of the seven wonders of the world. You will also see the rusty red sandstone of the AGRA FORT & BABY TAJ, and MEHTAB BAGH And Agra Local Bazar, from which the great Mughals governed the country. You will return to the hotel around 7.00 pm Night In Agra.

DAY 02: AGRA TO JAIPUR (FATEHPUR SIKRI FORT):
Driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast at 8am. While en-route to Jaipur you will visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri or “city of victory” was once envisioned to be the capital for the Mughal Empire. Built by the order of Emperor Akbar, this red sandstone city has served as an architectural inspiration for centuries. Depending on the length of stay at Fatehpur Sikri, you can expect to arrive at your hotel in Jaipur at around 3pm. If you’re not too exhausted from the trip, that evening you have the option of visiting the Rajmandir Cinema Hall, famous for its beautiful interiors.

DAY 03: FULL DAY JAIPUR CITY TOUR:
Driver will meet you at the hotel after breakfast at 8am. That morning you will go on a full day tour of Jaipur (the Pink City). The tour will include a visit to the Amber Fort, the Birla Mandir of Jaipur, and a two hour ride on the back of a decorated elephant. You will also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace Complex, where the Jaipur royal family stayed, and Jantar Mantar- an 18th century observatory. You will return to your hotel around 7pm.

DAY 04: JAIPUR TO DELHI:
Depending on the time of your flight from Delhi and on how tired you are from the previous day, we will schedule your trip from Jaipur to Delhi. It is recommended to leave around 9am, but it’s really up to you. The drive back will be about 5 hrs. Upon your arrival in Delhi you will be dropped off at the airport or the hotel (your choice).

Need some guidance on how much to tip your driver for his 4 days of continual service? Gosh, this is awkward. Ask your driver, or anyone providing you a service in India and their answer will be “as you wish” which really isn’t helpful, is it? We’ll just tell you honestly that a typical tip is between Rs 700 and Rs 1000 per day, paid directly to the driver at the end of your trip.
